Graduate Program
Cooper Reeves employs enthusiastic undergraduates and graduates each year to commence their career in professional accounting or financial planning.
The firm is dedicated to providing the best training and learning experience for undergraduates and graduates as they progress towards CPA or CA membership.
Undergraduates benefit from flexible working schedules around university timetables to enable them to complete their study faster while graduates are eligible for our CA and CPA support programs which are on par with larger Brisbane firms.
New starters are assigned a Mentor within the firm to support them through their day to day challenges.
A typical day in the life of a graduate would involve:
- Preparation of financial reports and income tax returns for a large range of clients.
- Assisting clients with GST issues including preparation of business activity statements.
- Written correspondence to clients and the ATO.
- Developing accounting software and spreadsheeting skills.
- Attending technical training sessions.
How To Apply
Since 2008, Cooper Reeves has been a leading sponsor of the Griffith University Professional Program, offering an annual Accounting scholarship as well as work placement positions. Paul Cooper and Sarah Smith join the team of industry professionals who guest lecture at Griffith’s Professional Development weeks.
