Graduate Program
Cooper Reeves is continually looking for enthusiastic graduates to join our accounting team. The successful candidate would possess a willingness to learn, be team orientated and committed to obtaining their CPA or CA membership.

Cooper Reeves is dedicated to investing time and energy into the development of our staff members. This is crucial in the early stages of a graduate’s career.

Through our mentor program, you will be assigned a senior staff member to support you through your day to day challenges and learning curves.

A typical day in the life of a graduate, would involve:-

  • Preparation of financial reports and income tax returns for a large range of business clients.
  • Assisting clients with GST issues including preparation of business activity statements.
  • Written correspondence to clients and the Australian Taxation Office.
  • Developing accounting software and spreadsheeting skills.
  • Attending technical training sessions.

Since 2008, Cooper Reeves has been a leading sponsor of the Griffith University Professional Program, offering an annual Accounting scholarship as well as work placement positions. Through the program we employ Accounting interns to work in our offices while they complete their study at Griffith University. Paul Cooper and Sarah Smith join the team of industry professionals who guest lecture at Griffith’s Professional Development week.

If you are currently a member of the Griffith Professional Intern Program and you are eligible for placement we would love to hear from you! We are also happy to receive applications from all other graduates – please forward your CV to careers@cooperreeves.com.au.
