Cooper Reeves Appointed to deliver Jobs to Queensland businesses through Jobs Assist
In a new Initiative, the Queensland Government announced the launch of the Jobs Assist Program to aid in creating 110,000 jobs for Queensland.
The Jobs Assist package is instrumental in achieving this vision.
Paul Cooper of Cooper Reeves was one of the first business advisers to be approved by the State Government to deliver the assistance to eligible Queensland businesses.
The criteria for eligibility is for businesses to have at least 10 full time equivalent employees. Preference is given to businesses in certain regions where employment creation is a priority.
Areas of Logan City, Ipswich, Sunshine Coast, Isis and further afield qualify for support.
Eligible businesses will receive up to $3000 for a business diagnostic and up to $5000 for implementation of a comprehensive business plan.
Application forms must be completed and lodged with the local Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation for assessment. Once approved, you will then be given a list of suitable providers and your business planning process can begin.
