"Cooper Reeves’ involvement in GB Masonry began in 1996 as external accountants. In 1998 Paul Cooper was invited to join the board of the company to assist in the major strategic changes occurring in the company including a number of shareholders wishing to exit the company. Reduction in shareholder numbers from 43 to just 5 has allowed the company to flourish in the very competitive concrete masonry building materials industry. Turnover grew over 500% in the ensuing years with the result that the company was sold to a publicly listed entity in 2006 for over $17m."
